The Berlin based duo, Crow Baby, is the new project from Jean-Louise Parker and Cherilyn MacNeil – both born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and each a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with her own projects.?Euro?In 2020 they reunited in Berlin and started a standing Friday afternoon playdate as a respite during the Covid lock-down. The result is a fearsome and wholly original Art-Pop band – „with a punk spirit!“ – which pairs a mischievous, upbeat sound with delightfully wry lyrics: a cheerleader with an untamed, rebellious streak.
